The exhibition also tries to convey Hungarian-Polish friendship as well as the harmonious transition between the two Presidencies (Hungary is followed by Poland from 1 July as the head of the EU Council).

As reported by the Hungarian Embassy in the Netherlands, the exhibition features a selection of the works (seven pieces each) of a Hungarian and a Polish sculptor (Boldizsar Szmrecsanyi and Robert Sobocinski, respectively) until July 17.

The exhibition was opened by Hungarian Ambassador Gyula Sümeghy and Polish Ambassador Janusz Stansczyk in the company of the Mayor of The Hague, Jozias van Aartsen.

The exhibition is the closing event of the Hungarian cultural program series held in the Netherlands during the Hungarian EU Presidency in the first half of 2011.
