E.ON connects own solar parks to national grid
Utility services provider E.ON Hungária Co. Ltd. has announced that it has connected to the grid its own solar plants in Hungary: the seven 500-kW units built in Szigetvár and the 500 kW solar park constructed in Mohács, both in the souther-central part of the country.

These capacities will provide electricity for about 2,000 households on an anual basis. The company says this investment of HUF 1.5 billion will be followed by similar ones in the future.

According to calculations, the cost for the current investment is recovered in nine years.
