Serbia-Montenegro struggle to recover from war and economic malaise
Serbia-Montenegro has not been a shining example of progress in recent years. It is a nation that to this day, continues to face difficulties as it emerges from hard economic times brought on by a series of armed conflicts against its neighbors, and even the NATO military alliance.

Striking scenes occur on a daily basis. Nervous passengers and howling children in cars loaded with seacoast paraphernalia were stuck for hours in queues extending dozens of kilometers under the baking late July sun on a central Serbian highway.

Numerous violent incidents against ethnic Hungarians in the Vojvodina area of Serbia have caused international diplomatic concern. DT travels to Vojvodina to look into just how grave the situation is.
